My Graduate Fashion Show

On June 26th 2009, my peers and I displayed our final collections in a Graduate show that was completely funded and organised by ourselves. I was told that my collection was very well recieved and stood out in an atmosphere that was perfect for my luxury lingerie collection; One of my outfits was also featured in the local newspaper that covered the event (see "work experience/ press").

Eventually I hope to be able to get hold of video footage; but for now, I have still photos.

Fashion Shows:

While working at Joyeux Bridal wear, I started to get involved in the fashion shows we did. After assisting in a couple, I was given the responsibility of co-ordinating the whole thing, running orders, timing, sets ect. I also directed backstage and dressed the models. Timing in Bridal shows was critical as all the dresses were laced and had petticoats etc.

I also dressed models at Graduate fashion week and at our University fashion show.

Most recently I put together a Specialist swimwear, underwear and sportswear fashion show for a corporate event that aimed to raise awarness of bowl cancer sufferers and promote the companies items. The swimwear is designed to disguise the wearers stomas while being pretty and a nice shape at the same time.

The images below, show snipets of the event, it was the largest I have ever done, with a crowd of 200 people. It was very well recieved and went very smoothly both onstage and off.
